A Meal to Remember
I wish I had money to eat every meal out with my family.
Hold on, never mind, scratch that. After the fiasco that we endured last week, which ended with everyone under the age of sixteen sent to their rooms upon our return home and the parents furious over the spoiled behavior of their offspring, I don’t think any of us would actually wish to eat out every night. The spilled drinks, the fights over bread, the ugly remarks and the surreptitious name calling - my nerves can only take so much and once a week is even too much lately.
What I think I’d like to have happen is to have the food magically appear, completely and professionally, not to mention healthfully, cooked at just the right time. More importantly, I’d really like for that same magical fairy that dropped off the foods to make my children actually desire to eat those foods; indeed, to crave those foods. And then to have them clean everything up behind themselves. Is that too much too ask?
Think of all the time that would free up and all I could get done with that extra time. Extra time I could use to explore and post more on Zwaggle, for starters. Each day there are more and more reasons to spend time on the site. The categories are really starting to fill up with some great stuff. Name brand car seats and high chairs, diaper cakes and inline skates - the list of items for purchase can’t be believed. And now that I’ve decided to let go of some of our baby stuff, I can share it with a deserving family here and get some things we really need.
Now, if there was only a category for delivered, prepared healthy meals, my life would be absolutely complete.
