Anoka/Washington County Head Start mission statement is based on the premise that all children share certain needs and that children of low-income families, in particular, can benefit from a comprehensive developmental program to meet those needs. ACCAP Head Start is committed to nurturing the dreams and aspirations of families in the Head Start program, and to attain the skills, knowledge, and motivations and secure the opportunities needed for them to become self-sufficient.
